Vault Breaker
Crack the combination in sequence before your darts or your lockpicks run out.
How to Play Vault Breaker
Every vault has a combination of 3 or 4 stages. You're shown the whole sequence up front: the challenge is landing it, in order, under pressure.
1. Hit the stages in order
Only the current stage's target counts. Hitting a later stage's target early does nothing: it's a dead throw, same as missing entirely.
2. Lockpicks
You start each run with 3 lockpicks, shared across every vault you crack. Any dart that isn't the current stage's exact target: wrong number, wrong ring, the bull when it isn't the target, or a genuine miss: trips the alarm and costs a lockpick. Lose all three and the run ends.
3. The dart budget
Each vault tier gives you a fixed number of darts for the whole run, not per vault. Crack a vault and the next one opens immediately with a fresh random combination: keep going until you're out of darts or lockpicks.
4. The Silent Drill bonus
Clear a vault using the exact number of darts it needs: one per stage, no wrong throws anywhere along the way: and you bank a 3× Loot Bonus for that vault.
Vault tiers
Petty Safe: three singles, the gentlest introduction, 24 darts to work with.
Bank Vault: single, then treble, then double: real precision needed, 15 darts.
Federal Reserve: treble, single, treble, then the double bull to finish: the hardest sequence, just 12 darts.
How to Play
Vault Breaker hands you a combination lock instead of a checkout: three or four stages, each one a specific target: a single, a treble, a double, sometimes the bull: that has to be cracked in exact order. Get a stage wrong and it costs you, and you're working against a limited number of darts and lockpicks, so there's no room to just keep swinging until something lands. Clear it flawlessly and you earn a 3x Loot Bonus on top, across three increasingly demanding vault tiers.
Why It Helps Your Game
Because the sequence is fixed and unforgiving, Vault Breaker trains you to hit a precise target on command rather than your favourite number: closer to a real checkout route than a free-scoring drill. The shrinking dart and lockpick budget adds genuine pressure as the vault gets tougher, so it's a sharp way to practise composure and precision together, not just one or the other.
