Chrono Break

Miss the finish and the number you started on gets locked. Same score, new route, clock running. Five in a row clears the level.

How it works
You get a finish. Throw your normal route and tap what you actually hit.
Miss it and the clock rewinds: same score, but the number your first dart went to is locked out.
⏱You get three attempts at each finish. Fail all three and your streak resets.
A lockout is skipped if it would leave the finish impossible: there is no 160 without the 20s.
Your Route Versatility Index compares how you finish on the fallback against your first choice.

How to Play

Chrono Break adds a twist to normal checkout practice: miss your finish, and the number you started that visit on gets locked out completely. You've got to find a brand new route to your remaining score without touching it, all against the clock, which keeps the pressure on to think on your feet rather than fall back on the same familiar route every time.

Why It Helps Your Game

Real matches punish players who only know one route to a checkout: if your go-to double isn't landing, you need a plan B ready instantly. Chrono Break trains exactly that switch-hitting instinct, forcing you to hold multiple checkout routes in your head rather than relying on muscle memory for a single path, which is a genuine edge when a real leg doesn't go to plan.
